WHAT TO DO AND EXPECT DURING A TREATMENT:

  

When  you schedule an appointment, Jennifer will first talk with you at the beginning of your session to identify the areas on which you wish to focus.  Often times, the healing starts before you even get on the table, as old “stories” or patterns come into the light where they can be transformed. 

 

In many ways the energy field is like a lock that is shaped a certain way because of how we have been wounded in life, what we have been  conditioned to think, how we have cared or not cared for our physical bodies, or just how our life experiences have generally caused us to view the world.  When your lock has taken on a particular shape, only a key shaped that way will fit.  For example if you have a “victim” shaped lock, only victimizing keys will fit. Much of the discussion Jen does before you get on the table has to do with changing your locks and shifting your paradigms so that you get the keys to the life you wish to live.


She will then ask you to lie fully clothed  on a massage table and  will use her hands to assess your energy field. Next, she’ll begin to clear and balance your energy as needed either by lightly staying above your body or touching specific areas, including where you may have pain.


By this time, most people report being in a deeply relaxed state; some even fall asleep. Some clients feel energized after a session, while some need time to rest further. You may have a different experience with each session. Energy Healing is very gentle, yet the effects can be profound.


WHAT TO DO BEFORE AND AFTER A SESSION:

• Wear comfortable, loose clothing. If possible, please refrain from wearing
synthetic fabrics during your appointment (including nylon and polyester). These fabrics can restrict energy flow.

• Refrain from drinking alcohol for 24 hours before and after a session.

• Recreational drug use is contraindicated in combination with energy work.

• Following your session, drink a lot of water (to continue to clear the released    toxins) and avoid strenuous exercise that day or evening.

• If possible, schedule some time to relax after your session.
